You’re Not Thinking Right

So often people talk about the hours you have to work, the people you need to surround yourself with, and the mentors you need to have in order to be successful. But part of what made me choose Clear Vision above any other company interested in hiring me – was the mission that we have – we want to DEVELOP professionals…not hire them.

It’s a given, right? If you work harder than everyone else, you’re going to see more results. This is something I 100% agree with, but I think there’s way more to it than people recognize.

It’s not always about working harder, it’s about working smarter.  It’s not just about setting goals – it’s about executing them. It’s not just about what you do, but it’s about how you think.

I’d say the last sentence is the most important “it’s not just about” tips I can give. Mentality is a huge part of the lessons and development we teach here at CVC.

“What you think, you become.”

Mentality is everything, especially in our business. I learned this within the first few months of working at CVC (and I still have a lot more to learn and grow into.)

Here’s the facts: when you believe you can do something, you will. A lot of people tend to get discouraged when they don’t reach their goals by a certain time/date. But guess what? It doesn’t matter how much time it takes because the time is going to pass anyways. It’s not about running a sprint, it’s about completing a marathon and knowing that your end game is your biggest goal, your own company, financial freedom, and the feeling of success.

You have to believe in your ability to do what you set your mind to, you have to change your mentality that you not only “can” do something, but you “will” do it. Until you learn to solely focus on positive thoughts and recreate your paradigm, you’re stuck in a para[dox]. You can’t say you want to be happy if your thoughts are so focused on “failure.”

Every morning when I wake up I say,

“I’m thankful to be a promoting recruiter.”

“I’m thankful that we have two assistant managers in our office.”

“I’m thankful to be part of the Kordella Org.”

and

“I’m thankful to be a boss babe CEO of my OWN company.”

I repeat these things to myself every day, because what I think I believe and what I believe will come to life.

T R Y IT O U T.

It’ll change your life, I swear.
